550 PUBLIC ADDRESS
Jacques 550 Series system features an integrated multi-zone Public Address facility. At any master station up to sixteen PA groups can be defined, each group can contain a pre-defined set of slave stations and/or public address modules. The operator making a group call can select any combination of the pre-defined groups, including an "all-call" selection, to make an announcement to a particular area. This allows intercom slave stations to function as a "mini-PA" system, as well as allowing the integration of the intercom station to a traditional building public address system.

Any of the Jacques 550 Series Master Stations can be used within the PA system. The Jacques DCS-550M Series 2 Master Station is a desktop console Master Station. The DCS-550M Series 2 Master Station is configured to suit specific project requirements. It is also equipped with two selectable foldback Audio Channels, background music or recorded information may be fed to any or all Slave Stations under Master Intercom Control, or Locally at the Slave with individual push-button Volume controls. High and Low Level Interfaces are available for connection to Building or Security Management and Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTV).

The Jacques SVR-100 is a vandal and water resistant flush mounted speaker, which provides optimum audio quality in high security areas. The unit consists of an integrated 304-type, stainless steel front grill with steel baffle plates, and an integrated speaker with a 100V line transformer.

The Jacques PAI-1 is a Public Address Control Interface for the Jacques 550 Series Networked Intercom System. When a PA message is paged from a 550 Series Master Station (for example the DCS-550M), the PAI-1 unit provides a balanced audio output to a PA amplifier for powering the zone speakers.
