The Jacques 650 Series IP System uses Internet Protocol (IP) packets for all control and audio communications between system devices. All intercom endpoints communicate using the Jacques Call Control Protocol (JCCP) which is specifically designed to provide system integrity and high quality voice transmission. The audio for intercom calls and/or public address announcements is streamed using the industry standard Real-Time Transport Protocol (RTP). Jacques Intercom stations and Public Address zones are managed by the Jacques System Server Software that controls and monitors all functions throughout the entire system.
